Solo Exhibition, June 2014 @ Parentheses Gallery & Art Projects, Halifax, NS
I will be having an exhibition in June 2014 at Parentheses Gallery & Art Projects. Check it out. Can't wait!
In August 2013, Parentheses was listed as one of the top 11 emerging commercial galleries in Canada by Blouin ArtInfo, an influential magazine on contemporary art. Since then, Hayden says, there has been growing interest in his gallery from both artists and other galleries.

Juried Art Exhibition Opens in Terminal 1
Date of Release: 2008/09/30
Coming Home, a juried art exhibition, is now open in the Terminal 1 Airspace Gallery. This show is part of the Greater Toronto Airports Authority's ongoing effort to showcase local culture and artists through the Art and Exhibitions Program. In May 2008, the GTAA made an open call to artists residing in the 416 and 905 area codes to submit work responding to the theme "coming home." Jurors selected works by 15 emerging and established artists from over 160 submissions.
Each artist presents a unique interpretation of the idea of coming home. Some artists use universal symbols, some deal with complex social issues or comment on urban development, and others present highly personal narratives about family, love, travel and memories that speak to the idea of home or the journey home.
The GTAA is also pleased to announce its first Purchase Award. Toronto artist Susan Szenes' mixed media work entitled HMS in Lake Ontario was selected, and it will become part of the GTAA's corporate collection.
Make the Airspace Gallery your next destination, whether you are returning home, or taking off on your exciting travel adventure. The Airspace Gallery is located in Terminal 1, pre-security, above the domestic arrivals hall.
